Don’t Fight the Tide, Come Along for the Ride (Don’tcha See?)

That’s me, tiny under the glowing white screen, giving a guest lecture on The Future Of The Record Industry for Mark Deuze’s “Media Life” course. I only mention this for two reasons: 1) This was easily the largest lecture I’ve ever done (roughly 300 kids, sprawling a bit beyond the edges of this pic), and it went about as well as I could have imagined, if not better, considering that 2) I did it with a lost voice, making me occasionally crack like Peter Brady, and more or less resemble Froggy. Also: it marked the debut of a swell sweater-vest I’m slowly getting comfortable with wearing.

The murals look Thomas Hart Benton-y.
great job, and I happen to like sweater vests.
