marathonpacks 2007 Year-End Mixes, Vols. III & IV

Okay, so I might have been a bit hasty in putting these off til Monday; it's amazing what a night of sleep can do to clear up a cluttered head. So, here are the last two, with the same caveats as the first two. Number three lets me get out the rest of my old-school R&B/soul thing that sort of took me over this year for a while--it's too bad I couldn't fit Nicole Willis on here though, I really love that record. Cold comfort, perhaps, but she's not alone on the snubs: there's also Panda Bear (which dropped like a stone for me throughout this year), the Field, the Studio, Burial, Radio Slave, T2/Jodie (maybe a fifth mix is in order, now that I think about it), "Lip Gloss," "Is it You?", Wilco, Dizzee Rascal, Liars, Super Furry Animals, Shocking Pinks, Britney, Kylie. Mix four might be my favorite, actually. It's got four of my top ten singles (Idolator version, that is), and those My My/Hot Chip tracks that are giving me the energy I need to keep moving around at this point. Come to think of it, the first eight tracks of mix three are doing the same thing. Thanks, music!

Well, have fun with these (and yet again, Happy Holidays). I need to leave my apartment now for a bit. My poor dog is standing by the front door with his legs crossed.
