1. Letterman holds up the old-timey and blindingly unnecessary long box CD for promo purposes.
2. Anton Fig drums while David Lovering plays maracas, and Paul Shaffer and the other guy from Letterman’s band play keys and electric guitar, respectively, and a guy that looks like the drummer from Hootie rocks ass on electric bass (BF and KD play acoustics). I love that the band would unselfishly and humbly give over large portions of their song to four square sessionistas, probably because it sounded fun on the plane into NYC. And they even indulge Schaffer ripping off a Keith Emerson solo and the guitarist wanking like Nuno Bettencourt, and it’s amazingly fun.
