marathonpacks' year-end mixes, vols. 1&2

Two things I really like about the end of the year--making comprehensive mixes of the music of the last 12 months, and giving cheap presents. This is a way for me to do both. Well, here they are--the first two products of about two weeks (off and on, mind you) of narrowing my year-end favorites down to 184 songs, then limiting them to one per record, and then arranging them in terms of best flow. I limited myself to four this year, but could have gone as high as eight. But number eight would have had some serious leftovers, you know what I mean? There were some left off, obviously, but I'll throw together two more good ones by the first of the year for those Andrew Bird fans (and I'm becoming one myself).
